We Will Remember Them

The whole school walked to the war memorial in Ilmington this morning for our act of remembrance. Rev Fletcher led the service which included prayers from the Worship Committee and a poem read by Luke and Ella, our School Council Chair and Vice Chair. We observed a moment of silence to remember the men and women who have served our country. Our wreath (made of poppies from each child in our school) was laid by Ella (the oldest child in the school) with Eddie and Molly (the youngest children in our school). Thank you to those who were able to join us this morning.
