The Salvation Army visit Ilmington!

We were thrilled this morning to welcome Kit and Brenda, from The Salvation Army, to our school. Kit and Brenda came to tell the Key Stage 2 children all about the work that The Salvation Army do, so that we could learn about where our money will be going to. The Salvation Army is one of our House Charities this year, voted for by the Tigers house. This means that our hard work to raise money during fundraisers will be going to support the work that this charity does. Kit and Brenda explained to us where the donations would be going and we were amazed to learn just how many people The Salvation Army support, both locally and all over the world.

We are so glad that the money the Tigers raised through our Sponsored Marathon, last term, will be going to such a worthy cause and we are looking forward to launching our next fundraiser in the coming weeks. Thank you Kit and Brenda!
