It's Ilmington School's 60th Birthday!

We have had a fantastic morning celebrating our school's 60th anniversary of being at this site. We gathered with members of the community, including past members of staff and village friends as well as the Secretary of State for Education, Nadhim Zahawi. The children sang our school songs and shared their thoughts about the school and prayers. Class 1 shared what they like best about the school and Class 2 told everyone what they thought the school would be like in 60 years' time. Class 3 shared a poem and prayer and Class 4 told everyone about the history of education in Ilmington. We buried a time capsule with the help of Mr Zahawi. Reverend Stephen shared his thoughts about the school's birthday. Thank you to everyone who came and the PTA who organised decorations and refreshments. We hope you enjoyed the celebration. 

60th Celebration
