Welcome to Class 2

Year 1 and 2

2021-2022

Welcome to Class 2! This year, Year 1 and Year 2 are split between two different classrooms each with their own teacher and teaching assistant.

Class 2 makes up the whole of Key Stage 1 and we use a two year rolling curriculum to teach the KS1 content. Some highlights of our year include; a Christmas pantomime , our Christmas nativity, our Easter church service and our traditional May Day celebration.

Class Teacher - Miss Livesey

Teaching Assistant - Mrs Hands

Miss Livesey has been teaching at Ilmington for a number of years and loves teaching art, travelling and her cat Mango (if she's behaving). Mrs Hands loves her cat Maisie and anything covered in glitter.

Year 2

Teaching Assistant - Mrs Burgess

Mrs Mason and Mrs Yeates are enjoying working with Year 2 until the end of the Summer Term.

Mrs Burgess is a master baker (watch out for her on Bake Off!) and enjoys walking her dogs.
